Description
A large room set in the parkland grounds of Bretby Hall. A peaceful tranquil setting. Bretby Hall was once a second home and hunting ground to the 5th Earl of Carnarvon, whose principal residence at the time was Highclere Castle (also known as Downton Abbey). The space You will have the top floor all to yourself with your own en-suite. There are great views from up there, but you will have to climb 2 flights of stairs. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Guest access There are lots of great walks into the surrounding countryside literally on our doorstep. This is our family home, so we will normally be around, this includes two young children who do enjoy meeting our guests. They are asleep between 8pm - 7am so the house becomes much quieter then. Use of fridge and microwave in the family kitchen. We know from our travels that use of a kitchen really helps when away from home, therefore we are happy to share as long as you don't mind it being a busy space with lots of family activity happening in here then you are welcome to use it. There are also lots of brilliant country pubs all within a short drive away. We are set just under a mile away from a main road, and the links to public transport so having your own vehicle is helpful, although has not stopped previous guests. Lengthly stays with us is also possible so please do message me. During your stay Its completely up to you, we are here should you need us. We will be happy to show you around. Other things to note We do have charging facilities for an electric vehicle.
