This beautiful character property offers three comfortable beds, 1.5 bathrooms, a peaceful front garden, and an outdoor dining area overlooking a lake filled with wildlife. Surrounded by stunning countryside and scenic walking routes, it’s an ideal escape for relaxing weekends, nature lovers, and exploring the beauty of the Cotswolds. The space Nestled on a peaceful farm in the heart of the Cotswolds, this beautiful farmhouse in Fairford offers breath taking views across the lake, rolling countryside, and an abundance of wildlife — the perfect retreat for a tranquil countryside escape. As you enter through the gate and walk down the path, you are welcomed by a charming garden to your left, complete with a raised patio area featuring outdoor dining furniture — an ideal spot for morning coffee, alfresco meals, or simply relaxing while taking in the surroundings. Step through the front door into the well-equipped modern kitchen, complete with all the appliances you need for a comfortable stay and a breakfast bar seating two guests. Towards the rear of the property, the cosy sitting room comfortably accommodates four guests and features an electric-style fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A dining table seating six makes it perfect for family meals and entertaining. To the side of the house, there is a downstairs WC, while at the back of the property you’ll find a utility room with a washing machine for added convenience during longer stays. Upstairs, the farmhouse offers three comfortable bedrooms. At the rear of the property is a spacious king-size bedroom with ample storage space. Along the corridor, there is a single bedroom with cupboard storage, and at the front of the house, another single bedroom overlooks the lake and surrounding farm, offering truly picturesque views. Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the cottage sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before. Please try to give as much notice as possible with your arrival time and update on the day with any changes / delays. Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests. Cot & high chair available if requested for additional £15 per item or £25 for both. (Please note, no linen is supplied with the travel cot). One well behaved dog is welcome on request only, to enable us to determine if suitable for the property. Please give details when making your booking. There is an additional fee of £30 per pet. The Farmhouse is managed by Pass the Keys® Cotswolds, led by Tim and supported by Andrea and Caroline. They are based here in the Cotswolds and are able to offer local expertise before, during and after your stay! The team have many years experience in managing Airbnb listings and will ensure my property is professionally cleaned and guest ready ahead of your arrival. They also provide 24/7 guest support.
