Madison's Barn - rustic and peaceful!

Our barn has been totally renovated but retained all its character with revealed stone and exposed beams. The woodburner and central heating keep it cosy. Outdoors there are big skies, peace and quiet and country walks to the pub in the village. The space Come and explore the peace and quiet of sunny Lincolnshire. We have converted a small barn yards from our house so everything is modern but has kept its heritage as a stone building. There's a woodburning stove in the spacious, double height sitting/dining kitchen area. There is also a sofa bed for extra guests. The snug bedroom has a super-comfy kingsize bed and views over the garden. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and state-of-the art mirror. All linen and towels are provided. The whole barn is step-free and mobility friendly. There is plenty of parking and you have your own sunny private terrace. There is a well equipped kitchen with a microwave, fan oven, hob and dishwasher. There is a flatscreen tv and wifi. Th e wifi speed is very slow as we are in a rural area. Hi speed is promised by Open Reach - we're still waiting! There's a hifi with ipod dock. Books and tourist information and maps are handy. Our garden and other terraces and barbeque are available for you to use. We are in deeply rural countryside but only 2 hours drive from London or 65 minutes by train (to Grantham). There are lots of options to tour from here or just walk on the footpaths nearby or cycle on our wonderful quiet lanes. I can collect you (and your cycles!) from the station by prior arrangement. There is a supermarket near the station for a grocery shop. There is a local shop/deli in Folkingham (2 1/2 miles away) and nearby pubs. With a weeks notice I can arrange for Lincolnshire Community minibus- Call Connect - to pick you up from the station. The barn is listed with a minimum stay of two nights. This is to cover cleaning, laundry etc. However, we may be willing to accept one night reservations at a slightly higher price per night or the option to bring your own linen and towels. If you want to stay for one night only please feel free to send us an enquiry and we'll see what we can do. The peace and quiet, big sky and open landscapes will lift your spirits. Guest access Your space is totally private and you have your own terrace area for eating outside. Other things to note The internet here is very slow. If you are bringing a firestick to use with the TV there could be a problem.
