Enjoy beautiful sunset views from your outdoor space and unwind in your private hot tub as the day fades into night. With York and the Yorkshire Wolds nearby, Fox is perfect for exploring, relaxing and enjoying a peaceful countryside escape beneath the stars. The space Fox comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests, with a luxurious king-size bed and small double sofa bed. The open-plan living space gives you a comfortable place to relax after a day exploring Yorkshire. The well-equipped kitchenette includes an air fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, 2-ring induction hob, under-counter fridge and hot running water, providing everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. There's a dining area with seating for four, comfortable seating, TV and DAB radio with Bluetooth, plus clothes storage and a modern shower room with shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. Step outside into your private outdoor area with seating, BBQ and covered private hot tub. Fox also enjoys lovely views across the surrounding countryside and beautiful sunsets, making it a wonderful spot to sit back and watch the day disappear. 🌅 Guests also have access to our landscaped grounds and free off-road parking for up to 2 cars. The children's play park is directly opposite the site, while the local village pub is around a 5-minute walk away. We're also on the main bus route, making it easy to explore the area. The Local Area Fox is situated in the peaceful village of Barmby Moor, at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds and just outside Pocklington. Pocklington is around 5 minutes by car, with supermarkets, independent shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants, as well as Burnby Hall Gardens and the KP Club. York is around 20 minutes away by car, offering attractions including York Minster, the National Railway Museum, JORVIK Viking Centre, York's medieval city walls and York Racecourse. For a day beside the sea, Fraisthorpe Beach and Scarborough are around 45 minutes away, while Malton and the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds offer plenty of opportunities for days out, walking and exploring. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape, family break or peaceful countryside getaway, Fox Pod gives you the perfect base for exploring Yorkshire — with a beautiful sunset waiting for you when you get back. 🌅❤️ Other things to note Fox enjoys beautiful views across the surrounding countryside, and on clear evenings you can often enjoy some lovely sunsets from your outdoor area. 🌅 Fox is located on our working family farm, with livestock and agricultural activity nearby. You may occasionally hear farm machinery or other rural sounds during your stay. The children's play park is directly opposite the site and the village pub is around a 5-minute walk away. If you wish to use the hot tub, please bring your own towels, as the towels provided in the pod are for indoor use only. Free off-road parking is available for up to 2 cars. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the pod.
