Mispel Cottage #5

Mispel Cottage is a quaint and comfortable cottage for six. The front porch overlooks the upper wetlands of Bateleur Nature Reserve with a beautiful view over the Waterberg mountains; an ideal setting for sundowners. The space The open-plan layout includes a fully equipped kitchenette for self-catering, as well as a dining and living area with a cosy fireplace for cooler nights. The cottage sleeps a couple in a double bed, 3 singles in the second bedroom, and an extra bed in the living area. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers. The back porch leads to a secluded braai area, with a fire pit and braai grill. Mispel Cottage shares a swimming pool with Mountain Villa Guest access Guests will have full and only use of the cottage. Bateleur Nature Reserve offers you the freedom to be on your own in the bush to live and explore as you wish. Once settled, you are requested to restrict driving to an absolute minimum. Driving is only allowed on the main roads. The Reserve is best explored on foot. You have the freedom to explore the gorges and rocky krantzes of the Waterberg or go swimming in the clear bilharzia-free rock pools. Guests are welcome to enjoy some of the on-site activities which include hiking, game viewing, bird watching, mountain biking, swimming in the dams, and fishing - catch and release. Arrangements are in place with various other Eco-Tourism Destinations and Resorts providing for game drives, horse riding, outdoor games, and conservation initiatives on a day visit basis. Other things to note Please note, that this is a Nature Reserve. Please do not play loud music or litter. It is strictly prohibited. The roads are secondary and driving low profile cars is not recommended
