Other things to note We recommend visiting the city of Nerja, 19 km from the house, which is a 20-minute drive, to stroll along the Balcón de Europa overlooking the sea and visit the Caves of Nerja, which is an unmissable walk. Get to know the town of Frigiliana, it is in the mountains 35 minutes away by car, it is a white town that was impregnated by the three cultures, Arab, Jewish and Christian. In Almuñecar, which is 3 km away, a 10-minute drive from the house, you can shop in its stores, stroll along its promenade at night, the castle facing the sea or its historic center. La Herradura, a five-minute drive away, has a beautiful and extensive beach with a promenade, with diving centers, kayak rental, windsurfing and paddle surfing school, restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, paddle/tennis center, three supermarkets. A night visit to the maritime lighthouse with a beautiful view of La Herradura on one side and Almuñecar on the other is recommended, which is a three-minute drive from the house.
