The site has a small outdoor fireplace ideal for warming up and sharing convivial moments, a picnic table, a hammock, as well as a natural pool for swimming in the river, perfect for those who enjoy cold baths or refreshing swims. The site is equipped with a rustic propane-powered outdoor shower. The space L'Halte Nomade primarily caters to: 🚐 Converted minivans (e.g. Dodge Grand Caravan, Toyota Sienna) equipped with conversion kits or built-in beds. 🚙 Class B vans (e.g. Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster) that generally measure less than 25 feet. It's the ideal size for the space. 🛻 Pickup trucks with camper box (Pickups with removable self-supporting camper unit). 🚌 Compact, motorized, self-contained recreational vehicles (RV) (small camper vans) 🏕 The site is also accessible to tents for guests who want to park their car directly at their site. Although a water source and compost toilet are available on-site, it is recommended to bring drinking water as the water source comes from a creek. We do not charge for cleaning because we think everyone is able to clean after their stay. The philosophy is to leave the wild campsite as you found it. We do not provide trash bags because we believe that visitors' waste is their responsibility.
