Spend the night in a gypsy wagon near Groningen city.

Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway. This popular place to stay is located on the grounds of the former Kalkovens Merapie, 5 km away from the city of Groningen. There is a bus stop nearby to the city, and it is located in a wonderful cycling and hiking area. The spacious Pipo wagon is located on a private spot in a tree-lined meadow. Breakfast or dinner are possible in consultation. If you want to come with 4 people, you can rent our old fire engine. The space It's a 13-meter-long gypsy wagon. Upon entering, there is a fully equipped kitchen with hot and cold water, gas stove, fridge, kettle, and Nespresso coffee machine. Next is a living room with a dining table and two chairs and two armchairs, then a "bedstede" with a double bed (160 cm), and at the end of the Pipo wagon is a bathroom with a sink (cold and hot water), shower and toilet. In the living room you will find a vintage record player with a selection of various long-playing records. There is always something to find that matches your music preference! Outside, there is a swing bench overlooking the countryside, a fire pit, and wood for a cozy evening by the setting sun. Guest access You can use the entire Pipo trailer and the surrounding grounds. Towards the gypsy wagon, we have created a lit path through the trees with atmospheric lights. You can also use the fire pit with its logs and enjoy a beautiful sunset. If you want to come with four guests, you can rent the 1957 fire engine as well. This one also has a lovely double bed. Other things to note Breakfast is available on request!!
