The Fort

Located near downtown Seward, this 1910 two-story home-lovingly known as “The Fort”-features , a spacious dining area, a fully stocked kitchen, and private upstairs bedrooms. The home also offers a large backyard with sections of older privacy fencing; please note that the yard is not fully enclosed or secure. The Fort features two spacious king bedrooms and one bedroom with two twin beds, making it ideal for families, couples, or groups. Each bed includes a brand-new mattress, quality mattress protector, soft pillows, and fresh linens to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. Original hardwood floors and the home’s historic character add warmth and charm, creating a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring Seward. Guest access Guests have access to the entire main living area, designed with plenty of space to gather, relax, and make yourselves at home. Enjoy a large dining room, a cozy secondary dining area perfect for games or conversation, and a comfortable living room with a large sectional and TV. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay. Also on the main floor is a private office space, a full bathroom, and a laundry area with a brand-new washer and dryer. Upstairs, you’ll find all three bedrooms, a second full bathroom, and an additional TV lounge that opens onto a large upper deck. Relax in the provided lawn chairs and enjoy a quiet morning coffee or unwind after a day of exploring Seward. Outside, guests can enjoy the large backyard, which includes sections of older privacy fencing. Please note that the fencing does not fully enclose the yard. Parking * Driveway entrance is on the west side. Parking is available on the side of the house and in the front. There is room for multiple vehicles.
