The Old Goat House is a well presented, stone barn conversion, situated ajacent to the owner’s home, in the quiet Wensleydale village of Thornton Rust, 2 miles west of Aysgarth. The Old Goat House is fairly unique with one of the bedrooms with en-suite wet room in a self contained unit, just across the pebbled courtyard, allowing some independence in the party, if someone wants a bit of quiet time. There’s scenery to enjoy, with walks and cycle routes from the doorstep, as well as the popular Aysgarth Falls and Lake Semerwater being just a short drive away. The popular market towns of Hawes and Leyburn are well worth a visit, as is the spectacular Hardraw Force, England’s largest single drop waterfall. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
