Cottage/Sauna in Tolkkinen/Borgå

A cottage/sauna 38m² with 3 rooms; living-/bedroom, kitchen/relaxroom with firewood stove, an old-fashioned firewood sauna with a manual pump shower, a dry composting toilet. There is no runningwater so drinkingwater is provided in a container. Hotwater for shower is provided. There is a twinbed for 2 persons and a sofabed for 2 persons, one extra bed is available. Tolkkinen is 7 km west from Porvoo with busconnection no 2. Free wifi available. For guests that likes simple living and sauna. The space We warmly recommend our guests to try the hot sauna. It is a special feeling to sit or lay down in the big sauna, and enjoing the special warmth that comes from the firewooded sauna. To relax in the sauna or in front of the open fire is so good for the whole being. Guest access There are two terasses, one small in front of the cottage and one round the corner (evening sun). It offers a walk in the forest or fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, (skating and skiing during winter) or just to relax into being. Several possibilities to barbeque; in the garden, in the forest or near the sea. It is 3 km to the closest beach by the sea (Skallholmen). The place is child-friendly with a playhouse, three swingers and a trampoline. There are three big playgrounds nearby. Other things to note Microwave, hob, coffemachine, water boiler and refridgerator are available. Toilet inside. Manual (pump) shower is in the sauna. Sauna 10€/heating. Bike rental 5 €/day. There is no tapping water, but we provide you with fresh drinking water in a container, and warm/cold washing water in the sauna. As extra: an outhouse (old fashioned toilet) round the corner, with lighting.
