On a family farm, surrounded by stunning scenery and within walking distance of the farms own beach, it's the perfect base to explore Kintyre's coast, whilst only being 15 minutes from Campbeltown. In the evening relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the setting sun or take advantage of the close proximity of the Argyll Hotel's seafront restaurant The space The Farm Cottage was formerly the shepherds 'but and ben', a traditional, two roomed, west coast cottage, forming part of the farm-steading and byre. Recently refurbished, it now offers a fantastic holiday experience, with sea views from every room, whilst still retaining an atmosphere of it's historic past. The cottage comprises of a light open plan kitchen/living room, a spacious bathroom with a large walk in shower and bath, a comfortable king sized room and twin room. Guest access From the self catering cottage, with its own access and garden, our farmland stretches from the beautiful silver sands of Bellochantuy Bay to the cliff tops and hills above. From the cottage you can stroll down the farm track to the beach or there's a beautiful walk up to the hills above, with fantastic views across to the islands of Jura and Islay. Other things to note As an integral part of the farm there will be the sights, sounds and smells of farm animals and tractors. We are a working family farm, with free range hens, pigs, sheep, cattle.
