Welcome to our newly renovated apartment with a lake view and 50 meters to the beach. We live next to the house ourselves and run three Airbnb properties. With over 9 years as hosts, Superhost status & 500+ reviews, we now welcome guests to this spacious, peaceful accommodation near swimming, nature and the amenities of Karlsborg. The apartment is about 150 sqm on one level, and you will have the entire place to yourselves. It is perfect for families, friends or groups of up to 8 guests who want plenty of space, a lakeside location and comfortable accommodation. The space Here you stay in a spacious, comfortable place with lake views. The house has generous spaces for socializing, cooking, and relaxing, making it perfect for families with children, groups of friends, and several families traveling together. In the house there are: - 4 bedrooms - 8 full-size beds, 90 cm wide - 1 fully equipped kitchen - 1 bathroom - Generous living areas - Lake view - You will have the entire upper floor to yourselves, with no shared spaces - Here you can cook dinner together, play games, relax on the couch, hang out on the lawn or just enjoy the tranquility and view of the lake. ------ The accommodation has a wonderful location with proximity to the lake, downtown, grocery store, restaurants and swimming areas. - 50 meters to the swimming area, about 300 meters to the beach - 5-7 minute walk to the bus stop that goes to Skövde Central Station. - 3 minutes by car to a grocery store that is open every day - 2 minutes by car to a 24/7 store, or about a 5-minute walk - 10-minute walk to several restaurants - 10-minute walk to a newly built, free outdoor gym (See photo) Here, you get a quiet accommodation close to nature, while at the same time being very close to everything practical you may need during your stay. Swimming, nature and Djäknesundet In addition to the nearby swimming area, the house is about 15 minutes by car from Djäknesundet, which is one of Sweden's finest swimming areas. Several of the photos in the listing are taken from there. Djäknesundet is known for its clear water, beautiful cliffs and amazing view of Vättern. It's a place that really has to be experienced – perfect for swimming, picnics, sunny summer days, or just a moment by the water in an incredibly beautiful setting. Extra experiences For those who want to make their stay extra memorable, there is the possibility to rent both a boat and a floating sauna. These are located some 4 kms from the house. - Floating sauna on the lake A favorite among our guests and a really wonderful experience. The sauna can be rented for SEK 700 per occasion. If you want it heated before arrival, there is an additional charge of SEK 200. - Private boat for rent Discover beautiful Bottensjön at your own pace with your own boat. SEK 1,000 per occasion. Fuel is not included. Boating experience is required. Things to do nearby - Tiveden National Park Only about 20 minutes away by car is Tiveden National Park – a must for nature lovers, hikers and adventurers. Tiveden is one of Sweden's most popular national parks and is known for its wild nature, dramatic cliffs and magical forests. - Karlsborg Fortress Karlsborg Fortress is a historic landmark nearby and offers guided tours, exciting history, and activities for both adults and children. - Swimming and lake life With proximity to local swimming areas, Bottensjön, Vättern and Djäknesundet, there are plenty of opportunities for swimming, fishing, boat trips and wonderful days by the water. Other things to note - No shared spaces You will have the entire upstairs to yourselves. - Cleaning is not included We kindly ask you to leave the house in the same condition as when you arrived. A simple and clear cleaning checklist is sent via Airbnb, and all necessary cleaning equipment is located in the house. - Possibility to book a cleaning If you prefer not to clean yourselves, professional cleaning can be booked for 400 euros. If the house is left very untidy, the same fee may be charged via Airbnb to cover the cost. - Bed linens and towels are not included in the price Duvets and pillows are available for all guests. Bed linens and towels can be rented for 15 euros per person and must be booked in advance.
