The space The house: The building looks back on a special history, not only on the people who lived in it, but it once housed the former Sparkasse von Mauthausen and still tells a piece of local history to this day. Old meets new: It has been completely renovated in recent years and enjoys the advantages of an old building – high ceilings, special charm and a modern living experience perfectly combined. The apartment: - 70 m² of privacy and comfort on the 2nd floor of the house - Private apartment entrance in the house (approx. 2 m high house entrance door, double lockable) -Two bedrooms (bedroom 1 with 18 m², bedroom 2 with 15 m²) - Stylish dining room or spacious dining area measuring 11 m², including a coffee maker - Refrigerated station with drinks and snacks (see price list) - Bathroom (shower and bathtub) with window - WC/toilet with window -Waiting area with seating - Entrance area with brochures, hiking routes, regional information material Facilities: -High-quality mattresses and toppers - Clean & high-quality bed sheets and bed linen - Clean towels - Modern hair dryer - Clothes hangers - Dining table for 4 people - Dishes & glasses - Coffee maker - Electric kettle (if required) - Salt, pepper, sugar - Milk (if required) -Toilet paper - Smart TV incl. Key handover in person on site (including a short tour/guided tour if desired) Parking: A private, free-standing parking space (included in the price) right outside the front door and another parking space are available for an additional fee of €10.00/day, to be paid separately on site. Bicycle parking space: Accessible barrier-free from the outside, covered, locked and under video surveillance for the entire stay for a flat rate of €10.00 to be paid locally. Other things to note Sports, Water & Park: There is a tennis and sports facility with a gym and the Mauthausner outdoor swimming pool 550 meters from the house. Also within walking distance are the Danube bank, the center, and the promenade of Mauthausen. 750 m to the Mauthausen boat dock (cruise terminal) and the Danube ferry (Enns-Mauthausen). Just 100 meters away, there are two large parks – both with play areas and opportunities for walking and relaxing. Pichlingersee Linz (21-minute drive), Ausee Asten (17-minute drive), Pleschingersee Linz (15-minute drive).
