Right in the heart of the Peak District yet easy access to Manchester and Sheffield. Set in the grounds of Harpur cottage, on its own private road and secure parking sitting along the peak Forest tramway great for walkers, cyclists and horse riding. Great location in the Peak District for everything the area offers and easy transport links close by. (For your information please refer to exterior photos as there is a pylon in the field next to the property which I’d rather guests were clear about before booking.) Guest access Enter through electric gates to private parking. Secure garden area from main house so own pets are safe and secure. Area around lodge is private use to guests. Hot tub is private and to the lodge only. Other things to note There is an extra charge for use of hot tub, no restrictions on use, very private, please enquire, see photos. Log burner is seasonal and to ensure safety for everyone premium kiln dried logs and eco briquettes only to burn. Basket of logs, kindling, fire lighters provided to get going. Top ups available if required at cost from host. Am open to guests bringing own kiln dried logs, please let us know. Pets are welcome maximum 2 dogs. Host has dogs and cat plus livery stables which are private. All clearly marked. Guest must keep dogs under control especially around the horses and field areas, they are strictly out of bounds. There is a pylon in the field next to the cabin, approximately 30m away. All health and safety assessments have been done and certified by HPBC but you can clearly see it in the field.
