Upstairs suite includes private bedroom with premier queen-size bed (in-room tea & coffee service, snacks; + mini-fridge); bathrobes; closet with luggage rack; adjacent private bathroom with tub and shower (bath supplies and hair dryer available); reading area on upstairs landing with eclectic collection of books; fast and secure WiFi; "smart" TV; window air conditioner; laptop/computer friendly desk, and seating area in bedroom. Self-serve continental breakfast is included, to enjoy in the kitchen dining nook or on the front porch. A half bath is located near the kitchen. Guest access Private off-street parking; private front door entrance; private covered open-air porch with seating area (available for smokers); main level includes entrance foyer, kitchen, dining nook, and half bath; upstairs is private bedroom suite with reading area on hall landing. During your stay I live and work in the back part of the house (both levels) and have my own private back entrance. I am typically on-site, and will most likely greet you upon arrival. My style is to be attentive to your needs but not personally intrusive. Areas in common are: the kitchen, the stairs that connect the two levels, and the hallway. This home is a solid 1930s-built structure with original clapboard siding, oak wood floors, plaster walls, and large windows which offer welcoming natural daylight. Interior space is virtually soundproof.
