Guest suite in Forest Grove

Our farmhouse is in a quiet rural setting. Public transportation is not available. Uber and Lyft service the area. Wineries, the city of Forest Grove and Pacific University are with in a few minutes drive. It is 50 minutes to the beach and 30 minutes to Portland. The studio is located in the basement of our home and has a private entrance. The accommodations include a queen bed, a twin hide-a-bed, sitting area, studio kitchen and full bath. The space A cobblestone path leads to the short sloping ramp entrance which takes you to the studio apartment in our circa 1930's farmhouse. Private parking is right outside the door. The kitchen includes microwave, one burner hot plate and small under-counter fridge. Coffee pods for Kuerg coffeemaker are provided. A few pots, pans and cooking utensils are found in cabinets and drawers. A queen size bed, TV, comfortable chairs, twin hide-a-bed love seat and a small dining table furnish the room. An en-suite bathroom, with heated tile floor includes a large shower. The studio shares the heating and air conditioning of the main house. WiFi, Netflix and network TV channels are available. A Blue-ray player is also in the suite and a few DVDs. Secure indoor space is available to store bikes. This is a non-smoking/vaping unit. The front porch is available to our guests. It features a comfortable seating area and table with chairs for outdoor dining. Guest access Guests will have access to: 2 private parking spaces. Studio apartment and entry area to store bikes. The outdoor space on the front porch offers a view over the valley. It includes a table with chairs and a comfortable conversation area. The vestibule area is shared with the host. Other things to note Secure bike storage is available. Information is available on hikes, bike trails, points of interest, places to eat (including sample menus) Complimentary wine tasting cards are available for many of our local wineries. We attempt to have an allergy free suite: animal, scent and smoke free. Only certified companion animals are allowed. Every attempt will be made to deep clean the room afterwards.
