The Cottage Suite Villa Amara at Rising Sun Farm

Here, nothing ends—every breeze is a continuation, every ripple a memory reborn. Cool tones cradle the day, and in the quiet swing of shadows, you find yourself unending. In this sanctuary, time and life are not counted in hours, but in moments that linger, unbroken, forever. The space We run a HomeStay in our 4 acre farm in Karjat. We have 5 different types of cottages available for bookings. They are all independent units and not connected to each other. All cottages are fully air conditioned with 100mbps wifi and 100% power back up. Our Cottage Suite Villa - Amara has: - 1 Patio with Swing, - 1 Living Room with an attached Washroom, - 1 Pantry, - 1 large Bedroom with a Sliding partition and a Second attached Washroom, with an open to sky Bali style outdoor shower space too. Total 2 rooms, 2 washrooms and 1 Pantry. The Villa includes: - A king sized bed to sleep 2 guests in the Bedroom with airconditioning - A queen sized sofa bed for 1-2 more guests in the Bedroom (separated by a sliding partition) with airconditioning - A sofa bed in the Living Room for another 1-2 guests - A fountain pond adorning the Villa for soothing sound of water Complimentary Tea/Coffee arrangement with hot water kettle is provided in the Pantry. It is also equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge. The Living Room has a Smart TV with Alexa. The Bedrooom has a wardrobe with hangers. Both washrooms have storage geysers in use for hot water. The open to sky outdoor shower runs room temperature water. Parking is free across the farm and you can park right in front of your cottage. Meals are served in our Founders Cafe. Our large 50x30feet Augustine Pool is common for all guests at the farm. We have a Bonfire area, Machan and some outdoor games like badminton, cricket, volleyball and basketball available for all guests. Barbecue kits are available at extra charge. The Cafe has plenty of books for leisurely reading and board games for family fun. Guest access Guests are free to explore and walk around the farm anytime they like. We have a large swimming pool which is 50 x 30 feet in size. The shallow end is about 2 feet and the deep end is 4 3/4 feet (less than 5 feet). We have seating inside the pool with a small serving area for guests to enjoy their evening tea and beverages. There's also an additional baby pool attached to it which is about 2 ft deep. The Augustine swimming pool is common for all cottages. It is open to guests 24x7. However our caretakers are available strictly between 9am - 10pm only. We also request guests to shut down loud music at the pool latest by 9pm so other guests at the property do not get disturbed. DISCLAIMER: Our swimming pool is cleaned daily and the water is treated regularly. However, during monsoon and mango flowering season - if it has rained the previous night or rains during your stay - there may be exceptional occasions when sometimes the water could change colour due to the greenery surrounding the pool. Guests are requested to co-operate and be understanding at such times when the pool water cannot be cleared instantly. Founders Cafe is a great break - away space where we serve all meals to our guests. The beautiful, quaint cafe has plenty reading material and board games for guests to enjoy. The Cafe provides service 9am - 10pm. We have a Bonfire area on the property where we also make wood fired pizzas. Winter is the best time to enjoy this space with marshmallows and music. The bonfire pit is not functional during monsoon as it is an open area. Guests can also enjoy the view from the Machan and request tea or a meal to be served there (at extra charge). It's also a great space to make calls or get some work done if you need some peace and quiet amidst nature. Or have a jam session with your mates! Extra charges apply for room service. Plenty of books, Carrom and a few board/card games are also available at the Cafe. You can enjoy a swim in our Augustine pool anytime during your stay. We switch off all outdoor lights by 10pm but you can request the servicing team to show you outdoor light points incase you'd like to stay out longer and shut them on your own later. You can also play: (outdoor games unavailable during monsoon) - Badminton - Volleyball - Table tennis - Cricket We have a bonfire pit for you to enjoy during winters. You can request our staff to light the bonfire for you at night during winter at a nominal charge and advance notice (to source firewood). We also provide barbecue facility at a nominal extra charge. We have great Chefs at the farm and offer a variety of cuisines. Our versatile, a la carte food menu includes different cuisines and offer both veg & non veg food at extra charge. A la carte food items are chargeable and not included in the tariff. Checkin Time: 1:00PM Checkout Time: 11AM NOTE: Early checkin or late checkout is chargeable at 2500/- per hour.
