Jacks Cottage -

A beautiful oak framed building with great views of the south downs. Accommodation comprising of a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi and log burner. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. One double bedroom downstairs with en suite shower room. Upstairs there is a mezzanine with two single beds and a sitting area above the lounge area with a bathroom with free standing bath. The outside space is a south facing patio with table and chairs and a BBQ is available. The space We are a Covid-19 Free - Piece of Heaven - Private Cottage to relax from this crazy world! I would like to confirm that Jacks Cottage will be totally deep cleaned for you, using the correct cleaning and disinfecting products. If we or any guests that leave the lodge have or have had the virus you will be advised immediately. Health not Wealth our priority Thank You for Looking Guest access Guests will have access to entire house and as well as the outside space directly behind and to the West of Jack's Cottage. The Cottage has it's own drive and entrance. It is completely self contained and private. Other things to note The property is located within the grounds of Cade House which has a pool. The pool is not enclosed and is accessible from the garden of Jack's Cottage. Please be aware in case staying with small children. Additionally there is a minstrels gallery over the lounge area hence the first floor is not suitable for small children. Jack's cottage is the annex of Cade House. Both properties are named after the notorious C15th rebel Jack Cade. (URL HIDDEN) Cade was apparently killed in the land between Cade House and Jacks Cottage and as such the Jack Cade memorial is opposite the properties. The death of Jack Cade is depicted in Shakespeare's Henry VI Act IV scene 10. (In those days they assumed this area was Kent.)
