Peaceful renovated family cottage by the sea

Recharge in our historic 100‑year‑old family house in peaceful Hellurnar with breathtaking mountain and sea views. Renovated with modern facilities—fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi‑Fi, garden and parking. There are several beautiful hikes nearby. Limited availability as we use the home most of the time; Please respect the house and neighbours at all times. No parties. This a perfect spot for those seeking calm and nature. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we have done over the years. The space The property is on two floors. On the first floor, there is the entrance and the stairs leading to the ground floor. The entrance leads to the living room, the kitchen and the main bedroom. From the living room there is an additional work space, with desk and monitor and an ocean view. The kitchen with the dining table leads to the smaller bedroom with a small double bed (120 x 190 cm). On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Downstairs, there is also a washing machine and a freezer. There is a patio table with four chairs available so when the weather is nice, you can enjoy a coffee or a meal whilst enjoying the views. Guest access Guests have access to all of the rooms described on the listing, and will have the entire property to themselves. Other things to note Please note, that the weather in the Faroe Islands can be quite unpredictable. To reach the village, you must drive through a very scenic route, including a mountain pass. This is one of the charms of the village. However, we advice you to be cautious during bad weather and always check the driving conditions on a local app, which provides regularly updates on the conditions.
