Close to downtown Grand Rapids, MI, 30 minutes from the airport, and about an hour to Lake Michigan, this home is the perfect location for visitors or locals to just kick back and enjoy life. We just finished renovating our home. Everything is new and up to date. The kitchen is fully-stocked and has all the features of a gourmet chef's dreams. Dishes, appliances, glasses are plenty and high end. In addition to the 8 seating dining table, there are more tables that can extend your seating. The fireplace has an original barn beam mantel and copper chimney. There are plenty of sitting/conversation areas throughout the home. And for the men and kids, there is a man cave with a large screen TV! Outdoors is a calming waterfall, large firepit, grassy lake side yard and beautiful clean sand....everything to make your stay perfect! The home accommodates a maximum of 15 guests, whether visiting for the day or sleeping in the home. Our neighbors prefer no parties or larger groups than 15 people. We request that our guests respect this so we can continue to share our home with others on VRBO. Many communities have banned vacation rentals for this reason. On a more positive note, we have a great dock for fishing and a swim raft on the edge of the drop off. There are paddle boards and kayaks at no additional charge. We do have a pontoon (and tube) available for rent, $1,400 for the week, plus gas. If interested, we can put you in touch with either excellent catering companies or a personal chef, photographers, light maid service, baby sitters, life guards, or boat drivers. The lake is very clean and we have a fresh sandy beach steps from the home. Nearby there are great bike paths, zip line, Lake Michigan beaches, Grand Rapids breweries, local farm produce and ice cream, and only 15 minutes to downtown Lowell, best ribs in Michigan or a quick 20 - 30 minutes to Grand Rapids. ***PLEASE NOTE: Our driveway accommodates 6 vehicles and street parking is not allowed. Absolutely no pets, bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings, or events allowed. No exceptions. ***
