Vacation home in the Black Forest, with sauna and large terrace

A cozy and charming holiday cottage, located in the middle of the Black Forest, renovated to a high standard and lovingly furnished, with plenty of space and tranquility for friends or families of 6 (possibly up to 8) people. Special features include the large terrace with a fire/barbecue area and the beautiful wellness area with a sauna. In the cozy reading room with a Swedish stove or in the spacious living room with a tiled stove, you have plenty of space to eat together, play, read, watch movies or simply relax! The space This newly renovated holiday cottage is located in the heart of the idyllic village of Prägs in the middle of the High Black Forest. From here, you can start fantastic hiking trails or simply relax on the wonderful sun terrace behind the cottage. Many hiking trails or the well-known gourmet trails start in the immediate vicinity. In winter, the slopes and cross-country trails beckon, as the Bernau cross-country skiing centre and the Feldberg are just 15 minutes away by car. The space The holiday home is built on three levels. The lower area has the entrance area and another basement room, where you can conveniently store your hiking boots, skis or even a sled. On the first floor, there is a small hallway with a coat rack and a closet, as well as a guest toilet. From here, you can access the beautiful, modernly furnished small wellness area with a sauna, relaxation loungers and a walk-in rain shower. From the sauna area, you can go directly into the lovingly landscaped garden and onto the large terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue area. On the other side of the hallway, you pass through a fully equipped country-style kitchen (with a large fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, juicer, water carbonator, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, teapot, milk frother, raclette, fondue, baking utensils, etc.) into the spacious and cozy living and dining area with an inviting sofa corner, a fully stocked games cabinet, a Wi-Fi-enabled flat-screen TV, a Marshall speaker, a rustic tiled stove with a cozy bench, and a large reclaimed wood table that comfortably seats up to 8 people! From the hallway, the small staircase leads up to the first floor. There you will find the three lovingly and rustically modernly furnished bedrooms, which offer enough space for six people. There is a large bedroom with a 180 cm bed and two slightly smaller rooms with a 140 cm bed and another 180 cm bed (this is a pull-out bed and can also be reduced to a 90 cm bed if desired). On the same floor, you will find a lovely reading room with a Swedish stove and a cozy sofa corner (the two sofa sections can be pulled out to form two single 90 cm beds, which would then provide space for a seventh and eighth person if needed). From the reading room, you can access the bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink, and, opposite, through a patio door, you can go outside to the large sun terrace with a view of forests, meadows and, with a bit of luck, the neighbour's goats, sheep, cows and horses. Guest access The entire holiday home, as well as the adjoining terrace and the garden, are at your disposal. Other things to note The use of the sauna is included in the price for you once a day for 2 hours (a total of 3 hours with the heating-up phase). Each additional or longer sauna session would cost an additional electricity fee of €10, which you are welcome to leave in the apartment upon departure.
