Cosy Bedroom with Private Bathroom & Breakfast

A cosy bedroom on the first floor of our home with a private bathroom (not en suite), with shower and access to our kitchen, self-serve breakfast included. Short walk to railway and bus stations giving great access to the City Centre (10 minutes by train). Lidl 2 mins walk. 16min drive to Birmingham Airport. Short walk to Acocks Green Village Centre with a wide range of shops and restaurants. Please note we have a toddler born in April 2022 so cannot guarantee a completely quiet night! The space The house is a carefully modernised and extended, typical 1930s English home. It has several original features such as a stained glass window and door panel, but has also recently benefited from external wall insulation to keep it warm during winter. There is a large rear garden which guests are welcome to use during summer. Guest access You will be the sole users of your bedroom and bathroom. You have access to our kitchen for a self service breakfast and tea / coffee during the day. During your stay We enjoy interacting with guests but also happy to give you your own space if you prefer Other things to note To help us keep the room and house clean, please leave outside shoes in the entrance hall downstairs and do not eat meals in the room - you are welcome to eat in the kitchen at any time. Washing Clothes: If you need to wash your clothes we can help, but please let us know in plenty of time. We will wash and dry them ourselves, using our machines and detergent, for a charge of £3 per load (that a normal domestic machine can take). There are also local laundrettes available (e.g. Park Dry Cleaners at 331 Fox Hollies Road).
