2 bedroom self-catering cottage (sleeps 3 or 3 plus infant) with amazing views in Swaledale, famed for its landscape, hay meadows & history. Huge reduction for 7 night stays. 1 small/medium sized well-behaved dog is welcome. Please advise size and breed before booking. No cats/other animals without pre-booking agreement with us. 3 nights minimum stay. Small garden for guests use. The space The Old Stable is an ideal base for exploring the upper dale & beyond, by bike, foot or car. We are close to the Coast to Coast route and there are cycle and walking routes of varying challenges in the area. The cottage has: - views to the landscape beyond, the best views being from the Living room and Main bedroom - plenty of room indoors and the use of a small garden, visited by wildlife, enlivened by birdsong & some surprising plants - calm decor with modern and traditional furniture, a solid fuel stove to keep you cosy, comfy beds (plus cot at no extra charge) - on site parking for 1 car & covered bike storage available (please let us know when booking if you would like to use the store) - freesat TV, Wifi , DVD, iPod dock & central heating throughout the cottage - complimentary bag of logs, coal for the multi-fuel stove We don't allow smoking in the cottage. Guest access The whole house is available to you during your stay along with a patio and garden area. Other things to note Mobile phone reception in the area surrounding The Old Stable is patchy but 4G reception on EE is improving.
