Luka's Hut, eco-cabin with sauna by the river

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline. The space Wake up to the morning sun twinkling through the leaves of the majestic tree, and look out over the cow pasture to the Ganzendiep river. Enjoy morning yoga in the living room with sun pouring through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Sit down on the couche on the terrace to soak up the view and watch the boats passing by. Take to the water in our little rowing boat, on the sup board, or just dive straight in. After a long day of adventures, light a fire in the wood burning stove, and relax with a long candlelit bath. The Meadow View bedroom has a queensize bed, space for our travelcot and big sliding glass doors into the garden. The Bunkhouse bedroom has two double beds - big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids/ 2 more adults. There is a good range of dry food available in case you forgot something and basic items such as sugar, salt, tea and cooking oil. There are plenty of board games, books, and lego to entertain our youngest guests. There is perfect wifi if you need to stay connected. You can park your car behind the gates on the premises. It is possible to lower a (trailer) boat into the river at the small harbour of the farm next door. The house is pet-friendly.
