Brand new fully remodeled cottage 1 1/2 blocks to private beach in Southern Shores on Duck Rd. 3BR/2BA home upstairs with separate 1 BR/1BA fully equipped handicapped accessible apartment downstairs (ground level). Perfect for a small family upstairs, and a couple or 2 older adults downstairs who are able to have their privacy and be a part of the beach vacation. Duck is 3 miles north, Kitty Hawk 2 miles south. Ride, jog, walk on the bike path just outside our door. 7 guests MAX. Dogs $50 each The space Upstairs Bright and airy open concept living room kitchen combo. Brand new stainless steel appliances, with fully furnished kitchen to prepare all meals. Large living space, kitchen, bedrooms, washer/dryer, and bathrooms on the upstairs level (second floor). 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Spacious bedrooms and newly tiled updated bathrooms. Master bedroom with attached full bathroom has a king size bed. The other two bedrooms share a hall bath, one room with a queen bed, the other has 2 single beds. Downstairs separate modern apartment for 2 guests, handicapped accessible. Downstairs apartment has its’ own completely equipped full kitchen, large bath with rain head shower, double vanities, living area, smart TV, front and back deck. Washer and dryer on each level, 2 fenced areas in backyard, fire pit, gas grill, 2 outside showers. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers. Limited to a maximum of 7 guests. Dogs are OK with flat $50 fee per dog. Guest access Entire house, 2 Laundry rooms, front and back upstairs and downstairs decks, 2 fenced areas in backyard for furry friends, 2 gas grills, 2 outside showers, fire pit, 5 bikes, 2 kid carrier bike trailers, and 2 kayaks. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers. Limited to 7 guests maximum (or you will be asked to leave the property, no exceptions). We have parking passes for beach parking (but you can easily walk from the house to a private beach), as well as the Marina in Southern Shores with boat ramp, kayak launching, and picnic areas. You can also access the Southern Shores tennis courts. Other things to note Reese is a former professional surfer, as well as a surfing instructor and is available for surfing lessons if conditions allow!! Lessons are $50. We have 3 dogs, and want our guests to be able to bring their dogs on vacation with them. We have a ‘Beach Truck’ and can deliver you to the sound with the kayaks for a beautiful sunset cruise! Dogs are allowed with approval, and a flat pet fee of $50 per dog for the duration of your stay.
