Riverview Cottage is a cozy and peaceful escape located at the end of a private road with beautiful river views and 3 private acres to enjoy. Located within 2 hours of Halifax, 1.5 hours from the Bay of Fundy, and within reach of the Cabot Trail. Eight minutes to shopping in Stellerton. Enjoy the yard and patio, nearby forest, and relaxing rural Nova Scotia charm. The river bank is steep and high. Children must be supervised at all times. A fenced in area is available for children and pets. The space Riverview Cottage is a cozy two level home designed for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of rural Nova Scotia. Upstairs features three comfortable bedrooms. Please note that the staircase leading upstairs is somewhat steep and may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns or very young children without supervision. The main level includes a cozy living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and other essentials needed for your stay. The full bathroom is located downstairs and includes a tub/shower combination as well as a washer and dryer for guest use. Off the dining area, guests can access the fenced area and patio and yard space — perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, relaxing outdoors, or spending time with family while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The home also includes a mudroom entryway and convenient on-site parking directly on the property.A train passes twice daily during daytime hours. Guest access Guests have access to the full cottage, yard and patio area, driveway, and surrounding property areas during their stay. Parking is available directly on the property. Please note that this is a rural property with natural terrain and a neighboring forest area. Guests exploring outdoor areas should use appropriate caution and supervise children at all times. Other things to note Riverview Cottage is located in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by nature. Wildlife including deer, coyotes, bears, birds, and other native animals may occasionally be seen in the area. Guests should avoid feeding wildlife or leaving food outdoors. The property includes natural riverfront terrain beyond the fenced yard area. Children must always be supervised outdoors. A train passes nearby approximately twice daily and will be heard from the property. Please note that the staircase to the upstairs bedrooms is somewhat steep and may require extra care when using.
