Grange farm retreats has two luxury glamping pods- The lambing shed and its sister pod The Cow Shed. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful solo retreat, a cosy getaway for two, or a relaxing family break, this is a place to truly unwind. Ideal for couples or solo travellers, this thoughtfully equipped space blends comfort with a touch of outdoor charm. Outside, you’ll find convenient parking for one car. Arrive at the private decking area, where four bistro-style chairs and a table provide the perfect spot to sit back, dine, or simply take in the beautiful surroundings. Inside, the pod is cleverly laid out to make the most of the space. The kitchen area includes everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a utility trolley stocked with cutlery and kitchen essentials, along with glassware suitable for hot tub use. There’s a two-ring induction hob, oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment, and a sink for easy meal prep. The living area offers a cosy place to unwind, complete with a TV and guest access to Netflix and Disney+. Just beyond, the bedroom area features a comfortable large double bed, a hanging space for clothes, and a small shelf with a plug socket and USB ports—perfect for charging your devices overnight. The bathroom is compact yet functional, with a sink, shower, and toilet. Step outside into the pods own designated garden area to fully embrace the glamping experience. Relax and unwind in the private four-person hot tub, enjoy alfresco dining at the picnic bench, or make use of the washing line for towels and clothing after a day of exploring. Whether you’re here to switch off, explore the outdoors, or simply enjoy the view, this glamping pod offers a peaceful and comfortable base for your stay. Guest access Guests have access to one allocated parking space, the glamping pod itself, and the garden area surrounding it. As we are based on a working farm, we kindly ask that guests stick to the designated glamping pod area for their stay. This helps keep everyone safe while allowing the farm to run smoothly. That said, depending on the time of year, there may be opportunities to experience a little more of farm life. If we’re in the midst of lambing season or calves are being born, Dan (or his dad Dave) may be able to take you along for a visit—just ask during your stay and we’ll let you know what’s possible. Other things to note While the pod can accommodate up to four guests, we recommend it is best suited for either two adults and two children, or four adults who don’t mind a cosy, snug space. If you’re booking as four adults, just make sure you’re all good friends—things can feel a little close, but that’s all part of the glamping experience! We’re happy to welcome your four-legged furry friends to the Lambing Shed, as we know they’re part of the family too! ( maximum 1 pet in the pod) We kindly ask that pets are kept off the furniture and remain on a lead at all times while in the garden area, to help keep the space safe and enjoyable for everyone. For their safety and comfort, please don’t leave any animals unattended in the pod at any time.
