Historic farmhouse with forest views and sauna

Our lovingly furnished, historic farmhouse can accommodate up to 9 guests. Four cozy bedrooms, a sauna, terrace and garden ensure relaxing vacation days. The house is situated in the idyllic village of Horbach with only about 40 inhabitants and offers tranquility, nature and relaxation far from the stress of everyday life. At the same time, it is an ideal base for e-bike and motorcycle tours, hikes and excursions in the region. The space The cottage offers plenty of space to relax, cook together and socialize. A large TV with a Fire TV Stick and a DVD player are available in the living room. For cozy evenings, you will find an extensive library with hundreds of books, a large selection of DVDs and a cabinet full of board games for all ages. The kitchen is excellently equipped and offers everything you need to prepare meals together. In addition to a fully automatic coffee machine and a Dolce Gusto machine, a sandwich maker, a pancake maker, a hand blender and numerous kitchen utensils are available. There is also everything for baking enthusiasts to prepare cakes, waffles or other treats together. After an eventful day, the sauna, the cozy living area and the peaceful surroundings invite you to relax and feel good. Guest access You will have the whole house to yourselves! The entire cottage is available for the guests' exclusive use. This includes all living rooms and bedrooms, the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, guest toilet, sauna, terrace and garden. Right by the house are two private parking spaces. Other things to note Important notes about the property Please also note that one of the bedrooms is a walk-through room. The room with the black and white wallpaper serves as an entrance to the bedroom behind it, which has jungle wallpaper. For families or groups traveling together, this layout is usually ideal, but for guests who place particular value on privacy, this should be taken into account when considering the room layout. Heating The house is heated by a central wood-burning stove. The stove is lit from the hallway, while the fireplace is in the living area. The heat generated also supplies the dining room and, via a warm air system, the three bedrooms on the first floor. For additional comfort, an infrared heater is available in the bedroom on the second floor. In the cooler months, the house will be preheated before your arrival. Please note that this is a historic farmhouse. Individual areas of the house, especially corridors and passageways, can therefore be a little cooler than in modern buildings with central heating. For very last-minute bookings, it may also take some time to reach the desired comfortable temperature.
