Cow Shed Cottage

A small country cottage in the beautiful village of Plaistow, West Sussex, famous for having over 30 listed properties. The cottage is annexed onto the Grade II listed main house with 9 acres of land. It has its own front door and private rose garden. The stairlift is not in use. The fireplace is an electric stove. The bed has a superking bed with separate bathroom and bath not shower. Kid’s beds are available on request. There is parking outside your front door and many beautiful walks. The space Cowshed Cottage has one master bedroom with super king size bed and space for additional camp beds or travel cot. We can provide camp beds but don’t have a travel cot. We charge £5 extra per child per night. The bathroom is just a bath, no shower and downstairs there is a comfortable, cosy living room with wall mounted TV and an electric wood burner ( there is a stairlift but this is not in working order) There is a knocked through kitchen/ dining room with an electric aga for cooking, toaster, kettle and small, counter top fridge. Dogs are welcome, we charge £2.50 per dog per night and ask that they remain downstairs. If you don’t have or forget towels or protective rugs, please ask, as these can be provided and we would prefer to protect the furniture, flooring and carpets, so don’t mind at all if you require them. There is a secluded garden for your private use and you can park outside your front door. There is a further small room with sofa bed , this room contains Tv and kitchen facilities and is available on request. The access to this is the same , so can only be let as part of Cowshed Cottage. The room is an extra £25 and intended only for children and not for separate couples as the cottage is not large enough to accommodate 4 adults, not of the same household wishing to share. Small children can be accommodated in the master bedroom on camp beds ( provided) if preferred at an extra cost of £5 per child per night ( as stated above) Babies are free ( no cot bed available I’m afraid) Dogs are £2.50 extra per night ( as stated above) Guest access It is a self contained unit with private access, annexed on to the main Grade 2 listed property and situated at the rear. There is space to park outside your front door. Other things to note I will allow my guests to be entirely private, however I will typically be available but cannot guarantee I will be there when they arrive.
