Welcome to Domaine de Montécourt, an exceptional property built by the Bonduelle family. 1 hour and 30 minutes from Paris and 1 hour from Lille, this fully restored house combines old-world charm with the most demanding contemporary amenities. In the heart of a 10-hectare private park that is fully reserved for you — a driveway lined with century-old trees, a brick and stone facade, and absolute privacy — the house offers more than 500 m² of bright spaces to accommodate up to 12 guests. The space The Domaine de Montécourt is much more than a vacation home: people come here to celebrate, share a weekend with family, gather with friends, or simply enjoy an exceptional setting. Each space invites you to slow down, welcome, and create memories, where French heritage meets contemporary comfort. You will be able to enjoy a private residence of 500 m², completely renovated, in the heart of a 10-hectare enclosed park. The check-in immediately sets the tone. A small road leads away from the fields, the gate opens onto a tree-lined driveway, then the paved courtyard gradually appears. The gate crossed, the countryside disappears behind you. The house once belonged to the Bonduelle family. Its renovation was carried out with special attention paid to the spaces, the brick, and the light, adding the comfort that is expected today from a house of this nature. ROOMS Six bedrooms, six bathrooms. Three suites have ensuite bathrooms; the other three bedrooms have their own bathrooms on the landing. The bedding consists of a 180 cm bed, four 160 cm beds, and a bedroom equipped with two single beds that we can put together to make a 180 cm bed upon request. The house thus accommodates twelve people in twelve real beds. No extra beds. A hair dryer is available in each of the six bathrooms. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor, four steps away only from the park. If one of your guests has difficulty climbing the stairs, one of these rooms can be reserved for them. RECEPTION ROOMS The dining room has a 3-meter by 1.20-meter table that can seat fourteen guests. The large garden table offers the same capacity. The living room offers eight seats on the sofas, plus four seats in armchairs and chairs. A working fireplace, with wood provided, completes the space. THE KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equipped for stays with family or friends: - oven; - four induction burners; - dishwashing dishwashing - three refrigerators; - two wine cellars; - dishes, cutlery and glassware for fourteen people. An adjoining laundry room has a large washer, a large dryer, an iron, and a drying rack. The bed linen and towels are provided. A COMFORTABLE WORKSPACE The Domaine benefits from a symmetrical fiber optic connection of up to 1 Gb/s and Wi-Fi 6E. There are four offices throughout the house, allowing several people to work simultaneously while maintaining their peace and quiet. The large dining room table can also be used as a meeting space. THE PARK The Domaine covers 10 enclosed hectares, mainly composed of lawns and wooded areas, with a wood at the end of the property. You can walk around it. To enjoy it to the fullest, you will find in particular: - charcoal barbecue; - ping pong table; - pétanque balls; - mölkky; - badminton court to be installed; - garden furniture and deckchairs. The courtyard, the barn, and their surroundings allow parking for about fifteen vehicles. LES DEUX ÉTANGS There are two ponds on the property, about 50 and 150 meters away of the house. Fishing is possible there, and the population includes predators in particular. A boat is available; there is no pontoon. Swimming is possible, under the responsibility of the guests. The ponds are not fenced and require special vigilance with young children. SUMMER AND WINTER The house has undergone a major renovation of its insulation and has heating by heat pumps. All rooms are heated, which allows you to enjoy the Domaine in any season, including in the middle of winter. Domaine de Montécourt is located in the hamlet of Montécourt, in Monchy-Lagache, in the heart of the Somme countryside. The property benefits from a particularly well-preserved environment, away from the roads and the hustle and bustle, while remaining easily accessible from Paris, Lille and Saint-Quentin. SHOPS There's a bakery in the village. The Leclerc and Intermarché supermarkets are accessible in Péronne, about fifteen minutes away. For a wider selection, Saint-Quentin has an Auchan and several supermarkets. Local caterers can also come to the Domaine; we will be happy to direct you to the right service providers for your stay. RESTAURANTS Maison S&L, in Saint-Quentin, is a great option for dining outside. We can also recommend several places in Péronne, according to your desires. VISIT THE ESTATE Péronne station is the nearest. From Saint-Quentin, you can reach Paris Gare du Nord in about 1 hour and 17 minutes, with about twenty daily connections, most often direct. We can pick you up from either Péronne or Saint-Quentin train stations. By car, Lille is about an hour away and Paris is about 1 hour and 40 minutes away. A car is still recommended for exploring the surroundings. A Tesla can also be made available to you. EXPLORE NEARBY The Domaine is located in the heart of the historic Somme battlefields circuit. The Historial de la Grande Guerre in Péronne is about twenty minutes away. The Franco-British Memorial at Thiepval and the Australian National Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux are about forty minutes away. Amiens and its cathedral are accessible in about fifty minutes. The surroundings also offer many hiking trails, cycling routes, and fishing opportunities. A PERSONALIZED WELCOME Your check-in is guaranteed in person. Vasile looks after the Domaine and remains available during your stay to meet your needs or assist you in case of any difficulties. A housekeeper comes twice a week to maintain the comfort and quality of the stay. ANIMALS Pets are welcome. The Domaine has 10 enclosed hectares, allowing you to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces. CHILDREN The Domaine is equipped to accommodate families with young children: - travel cot; - high chair; - adapted cutlery; - adapted plates. SMOKING No smoking inside the house is allowed. Smoking is only allowed outside. There are no cameras inside the house, on the terraces, in the bedrooms or in the bathrooms. CAPACITY The Domaine can accommodate up to twelve people for the night. However, the reception spaces can accommodate fourteen guests around the tables, which proves to be particularly Pleasant for occasionally hosting relatives from the region during a stay. STAYS AND EVENTS The Domaine is designed for stays for families or groups of friends, reunions and large gatherings. Large parties are not allowed. The spirit of the Domaine is that of a private house where you come to enjoy the calm, the park, and time spent together. Guest access The entire estate is reserved for you; feel free to walk around. Other things to note OUTDOOR CAMERAS There are security cameras exclusively outside the property: in the courtyard, at the entrance to the barn, and in the park, including one facing the heat pumps.
