Located between Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley, minutes to popular attractions, and just 25 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and 20 miles from Hollywood Burbank (Bob Hope) Airport. The space LIVING ROOM The living room is inspired by current and past styles, furnished with modern seating, contemporary art, and accented with live plants. It is also equipped with WiFi access, Smart TV, Alexa, DVD player, and access to Hulu, Disney+, Netflix & Max streaming service for your entertainment. DVDs and kid-friendly games are also provided. BEDROOMS The bedrooms are furnished with full size beds, queen pillows, and fresh beddings. A heater and an AC unit are also provided along with thick curtains for a more comfortable stay. KITCHEN The farmhouse inspired kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials, toaster, blender, refillable water filter, and even a rice cooker. Kid-friendly BPA free dinnerware are also provided for the little ones. The coffee & tea station will help you get your day started with choices of coffee pods and tea selections. We provide a starter supply of paper towels, coffee/tea essentials, and cooking essentials--oil, salt, pepper, sugar & soy sauce. *Guests to supervise children in the group during their stay. There are cleaning supplies & items that may be within reach of young kids. We are not responsible for any incident that may occur. BATHROOM It's a cozy "Jack and Jill" style bathroom that is accessible from both bedrooms. It has a standard shower/tub combination and a compact style toilet. We provide a starter supply of toilet paper, facial tissue, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner and makeup cleansing wipes. *Guests to supervise children in the group during their stay. There are cleaning supplies & items that may be within reach of young kids. We are not responsible for any incident that may occur. LAUNDRY Available for use and is accessible using a key. It is shared with the back house. Laundry room hours are from 8am to 12am but flexible if needed. *Guests to supervise children in the group during their stay. BACKYARD Sip your morning coffee, have a light exercise, play a game of tumbling towers, soak in some SoCal sun at the lounge area and if you’re lucky, enjoy a taste of blueberry picking during harvest season—all in the comfort of a private backyard! *Keep in mind there isn’t a second rail on the porch step. Be careful as there are loose or uneven pavement in the yard. Guest to supervise all children in the group during the stay. We are not responsible for any incident that may occur. DRIVEWAY/PARKING Parking is provided on the driveway to the right side of Blue Door Bungalow (front house). Since there are 2 homes on the property, the driveway is shared with the back house. Only one car per house is allowed unless otherwise coordinated with us. Two cars fit side by side. It’s important to not park in the alley where the house is located, do not block any of the neighbors’ driveways and do not park in the spaces across from the house - those spaces are strictly for the neighbors’ use. Please drive slow in the alley as the roadway is narrow, bumpy, and children/pedestrians may be present. Guest access Although the house is a single story with no internal stairs, there are a few steps that lead up to both the front and rear door landings. Access the house through the blue front door using a keypad. A private code will be provided before your arrival. Entry should only be through the front door since a physical key will not be provided for the back. There’s also a laundry room available for use and is accessible using a key. It is shared with the back house. Laundry room hours are from 8am to 11pm. Other things to note HOUSEKEEPING In an effort to provide a comfortable, tidy, and clean stay for all guests, we ask that guests follow the housekeeping policy. Please: Remove shoes when entering and place them on the shoe rack by the door. Indoor slippers are provided for guests use. Do not eat in bed. If the additional bed pillows are not needed or will be unused, please store them in the under-bed storage. Wash all used dishware and cookware before check out. Wash by hand or use the dishwasher – both hand dishwashing soap and dishwasher pods are provided. Turn fan on when bathroom is in use and open the window after showering when possible to aerate the moisture. Leave all used towels in a pile on the bathroom floor or in tub before check out. Only flush toilet paper down the toilet - do not flush any type of wipes, paper towels or feminine hygiene products down the toilet. Avoid staining couch, rug, beddings, towels, bathrobes and curtains. We will treat all stains but if they do not come off after treatments, an additional cleaning fee may be charged. Place all trash, recycling and compost in individual bins provided as required by the city. BLACK for Trash, BLUE for Recycling & GREEN for Compost/Green Waste. Generally, leave the house in similar condition as when you first arrived to avoid any additional cleaning charges.
