For families, books and children's toys are available, and there is a small playground in the village. In the neighboring village, there is a basketball court and a small skate park. Swimming pools are in Diepholz, Barnstorf and Wagenfeld, about 10 km away. Lake Dümmer can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Here there are opportunities for water sports, wellness, playgrounds and, with "Lykke-Land," a very nice indoor play paradise. The zoo in Ströhen can be reached in about 25 minutes by car. Various events take place in the wider area, such as music festivals, classic car rallies, town festivals, flea markets or the balloon festival in Barnstorf. You can book canoe tours or yoga classes – there's something for everyone. Shops for essentials such as groceries can be found approx. 4 km away. In 5 - 15 minutes by car, you can also find a lot of dining options for every taste. The district capital Diepholz is about 10 km away, and Vechta is about 20 km away.
