The space The charming two bedroom, one bath (945 SF), features a patio deck area and a downstairs private courtyard area. Child and pet friendly. You can store your surf boards, beach chairs, toys and enjoy the outside shower in a gated private area. When you arrive you are welcome to enjoy snacks from the snack basket. Grab a cup of coffee or tea as you snuggle in the blankets. The well-appointed modern kitchen looks into the living room and has a stunning ocean view. Did I say STUNNING? Look for the Dolphins feeding. For the Chef in you, there are premium Calphalon pans and J Henkel cutlery and Spices. The fully stocked kitchen enables you to make scrumptious meals. There are hooks under the counter for purses and packs. Our guests have linens, blankets, bath and beach towels. The master bedroom has a Queen Luxury Ultra Firm Stearns & Foster mattress bed and a large closet with black out curtains. The second bedroom enjoys a Queen plush bed with a large closet and black out curtains. There is a Twin XL Fold-up pocket spring mattress that you may place anywhere in the home. The living room sofa folds out into a Queen Size sofa bed. Newly Installed CENTRAL A/C. The living room has many windows to enjoy the ocean views. Enjoy a crackling fireplace while you lounge on the sofa, taking in the ocean breezes. The home has the fastest Internet speed available, it is land hard wired with an additional extender Internet pod. Great for a business person to get work done. Enjoy luxury FILTERED Water throughout the home! The quality of the water we drink matters. Enjoy the purest-exceptional tasting Water throughout. You will notice a difference on your skin at the outside and inside shower. We have instant HOT WATER ON DEMAND. This will give you the fastest hot shower and you won’t run out! GONE GREEN: All electricity is SOLAR POWERED. We recycle glass, cans, plastic and paper. The bathroom contains toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and soaps.) There is a hair dryer and extra fresh towels. The new shower has a shower lever. If you turn the lever to the right it is hot, if you turn the lever to the left it is cold. The toilet is an ergonomically low flush toilet. Press and hold the handle down for three seconds to get a full flush. Please do not put anything in the toilet other than toilet paper. UPPER DECK AREA: There is a table and chairs with cushions. No climbing on the roof nor jumping off the deck. LOWER COURTYARD AREA: Enjoy the outside shower and hooks to hang your wetsuits and beach towels. Please hang the beach towels outside to dry and shake the towels out before they are placed in the washing machine. The shed contains beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, beach wagon, coolers, a sun shade and toys for the beach. Use the gas BBQ Grill for mouthwatering meals. Must be attended when in use. Keep BBQ Grill cover open after use for the maid to clean. PETS are welcome. We have enjoyed dogs, cats and parrots. Please try to keep animals off of the furniture or put a blanket down. There is a small grass area in the downstairs courtyard to accommodate pets. We have a plastic gate pet fence to use if needed. Within the Guest Binder are a list of dog beaches and parks. Enjoy reading and games? There are books to swap and board games to play. We supply a first aid kit in the closet for ouchies. Kid friendly home with a GRACO portable play pen, a high chair and sand toys to use. We know you must be ready to relax and start your vacation, and we want you to make yourself at home right away and have an enjoyable time. You have one designated parking space in front of the driveway. Please see the photo in the Guest Binder or on the back of the entry door on how to park your vehicle. SIMPLE HOUSE RULES, we all have them. Indoor and outdoor areas are NON SMOKING. Use CAUTION when going in and out of the home. Tile, concrete and wood surfaces, including stairs, floors and the patio area can be very slippery when wet. Please take extra care after swimming or when it is raining. The home owners are not responsible for injuries. The rental guests are responsible for the guests and pets that they invite over. No climbing off of the patio deck nor onto the roof. The homeowner is not responsible. There is a wall switch on the left side of the gas fireplace to turn on/off. Do not put anything combustible into the fireplace. The fireplace must only be used when guests are in the rental. Please turn off heater, A/C, fireplace and fans when you are not within the property. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING- Please put out Trash and Recycling bins Sunday evening. They are picked up EARLY on Monday mornings. Blue Bins are for Recycling, cans, paper, aluminum, glass and plastic. WASHER/DRYER- Extra Large drums for your beach towels. Please shake sand out of beach towels/bathing suits before placing them in the washer to prevent clogs. When not in use, please keep the washer door ajar to prevent mold in the drum. GATE: Please keep the gate closed during the evening. We have installed motion sensor lights, if you come home late. Other things to note The home is just a 90-second walk to Stone Steps Beach. You’ll also find local shops, coffee houses, restaurants, pubs, and beach and bike rentals within walking distance. For gift shopping and clothing, Coco Rose is a local favorite. Additionally, gyms, a yoga studio, and salons are all located in downtown Encinitas. Bier Garden is a local favorite. Vigilucci’s’s is a local pub and in walking distance•8 minutes. (great food and piano music). If you sit at the bar, you can ask the town folk where to go.
