Welcome to Villa Woodpecker! Accessible living on the edge of the forest/15 minutes from the city by regional train/public transport within walking distance/ very quietly located at the nature reserve Rahlstedter Gehölz. 4 km to the A1 motorway and in 40 minutes to the Baltic Sea! Housing protection number: available The space We live in an ecological wooden house made of renewable material with rainwater use for the toilet and now have a new annex as an in-law for our guests. Your quiet retreat. Access and bathroom are accessible. It's 5 meters to your car. Own wallbox for electric car/plug-in hybrid available. (Billing according to KW consumption) The kitchenette with Nespresso machine (we have capsules) and fridge is ready for your breakfast. Kitchenette means: there is no stove or oven. Cooking is not possible. A microwave for warming up food is available. We'll put a few drinks in the fridge for you. Of course, you can bring your own drinks. Bed linen, towels and terry bath sheets are freshly made for you and already included in the price. Our house will be heated by a highly efficient heat pump from 2025. Goodbye gas combustion. The apartment has about 30 m² of living space with underfloor heating. Also in the bathroom! Culture and tourism tax Hamburg: We have always paid for it ourselves so far. After the city of Hamburg has doubled the fees and there are no exceptions for business travellers, we charge you €2.00 per guest/night. Please feed the piggy bank with your fee contribution. Thank you! Guest access You drive under your carport and have 6 metres to your own front door. It couldn't be more convenient, and your privacy is guaranteed. While you conquer Hamburg, your car will be charging at your own wallbox with our (solar) electricity. This makes billing easy. Access is at ground level and is also easily accessible for wheelchair users or walkers. Other things to note It's actually ideal: We live on the quiet outskirts of the city. Nevertheless, you are in the middle of the city in 20 minutes or at the Baltic Sea in 40 minutes by car. The metro bus runs every 10 minutes. The station is about 200 meters away. A large REWE supermarket and bakery are 150 meters away. There is also a pharmacy. You can jog in the forest and in the morning you will probably encounter a few deer there.
