Where history and nature come together

SPEND THE NIGHT IN A NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE: WHERE HISTORY AND TRANQUILITY COME TOGETHER… This half-timbered house from 1740 is a national monument, located within the ring walls of the former Reifferscheid Castle, overlooking green hills and the white towers of the outer bailey. Located on a pedestrian-only alley, where you can also relax on a cozy terrace. Right in the heart of the Eifel, with its beautiful natural surroundings, on the southern edge of the Eifel National Park and close to Monschau and the Rursee. The space The three bedrooms (which also feature the original half-timbered walls) and the living room (approximately 50 m² in total) are all located on the second floor. The bathroom (equipped with a bathtub, vanity unit, and toilet) is located on the first floor. The eat-in kitchen on the ground floor is available to guests only when meals are provided by the host (see 'Interaction with guests' below). Guests can, however, have breakfast and/or enjoy meals they have brought with them in the living room. The terrace is located directly opposite the house, in a secluded spot between two small outbuildings. Guest access The kitchen on the ground floor is not intended for use by guests, but they are welcome there when they are pampered with breakfast and/or dinner by the host. Extra price: breakfast €7,50 p.p. / supper: €15 p.p. However, please let us know in advance if you would like breakfast and/or a dinner. Other things to note Free parking: For loading and unloading luggage, you can park your car directly at the rear of the house for a short time. For long-term parking, there is one parking space available a few meters from the house, and additionally, several parking spaces at the ‘Mathiastor’ (the main entrance gate to Burg Reifferscheid), located about 100 meters from the house.
