The space The Calatrava Cave House is nestled in the heart of the Tabernas Desert, the only desert in Europe. The Cave House can accommodate 4 people, with two double beds and two sofa beds (if accompanied by children, please ask). Away from noise, it is the ideal destination to eliminate stress and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, as well as its spectacular sunsets and especially starry nights. If you have never slept in a Cave House, it is an experience that will surprise you, since the temperature remains constant all year round and oscillates around 20º. The bedrooms are located in a cave, which will allow you to enjoy unique sensations. The philosophy of our Cave House is simple: make your stay pleasant, awakening your senses. Comfort, calm, closeness, care, dedication and attention to small details make it a place that makes you feel at home. Casa Cueva Calatrava is divided into two areas. The cave inside which a constant and pleasant temperature is ensured for sleeping, both at night and at noon, where a nap at 22º when outside it is 35º is totally comforting. And the rest of the house is a traditional building. The living room The cave house has a large, very cozy living-dining room, equipped with a comfortable sofa bed, fireplace, air conditioning for hot summer evenings, lamps and other decorative objects typical of Almería, which gives an air of authenticity. In it you will feel as if time has stopped. A living room where the atmosphere surrounding the mountain house, silence and tranquility will make you forget the omnipresent television, to delight you with a chat with friends or with the reading of one of the many books that you will find in the house. But we have also thought of lovers of everyday comforts, for them we have equipped the living room with television, DVD player with USB and air conditioning. Finally, and for emergencies, the house has flashlights and candles. Kitchen and bathroom The cave house is equipped with a toilet, sink, large bathtub, hot water, first aid kit, personal hygiene products for both women and men, and towels. We also put at your disposal a complete kitchen, integrated into the living room through an American bar, with all the utensils and tools you may need to make food: gas stove, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, coffee maker, refrigerator, grill for the fireplace, and a long etcetera that will make you not miss anything. The terrace At the entrance of the house there is a large terrace with magnificent views of Calar Alto, Sierra Nevada and Sierra Alhamilla, from which you can enjoy unbeatable sunsets.
