Seaside farmhouse, Rörmöstgården

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. An older house, from the mid-1800s, carefully renovated in recent years. Here, you will enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay on our farm, overlooking fields and magnificent sunsets. Biking distance to saltwater swimming, harbors, restaurants, and nature reserves/beautiful natural areas. Several golf courses are located in the nearby area. 15 minutes by car to Kungsbacka, 30 minutes to Gothenburg, 40 minutes to Varberg. There is a bus stop a 10-minute walk away. Kattegattleden passes nearby. The space Kitchen: dining area for about 4–6 people. Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, two-burner induction stovetop, combined microwave and oven, and fridge and freezer (located in the storage room next to the kitchen; see below). Plenty of storage. A coffee maker and kitchen utensils are provided here. Salt, pepper, and olive oil are provided. Dish towels are provided. Living room: spacious living room with sofa set and TV. There is an air-source heat pump here that cools in the summer and heats in the winter. From the living room, you can access the porch, the bathroom, and the two bedrooms. Veranda: Here, you can sit and enjoy lovely views of the fields and the sunset. Access to the patio in front of the house, with sunlight from midday to late evening. Bedroom 1: Bedroom with a double bed and two wardrobes. View over the field in front of the house. It is possible to set up an extra bed here if needed. Please indicate your preference for this when booking. Bedroom 2: Bedroom with bunk bed (2 separate beds) and a wardrobe. Access to a small patio with morning sun. Please note that the room has a sloping ceiling and therefore a slightly lower ceiling in part of the room. The door to the room is lower than standard. Toilet/bathroom: The house has one bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower, and towel dryer. Storage in a dresser and a wall cabinet. Underfloor heating. The bathroom is accessed from the veranda. Hall: Hall with ample space for hanging and storing items such as suitcases during the stay. The hallway is accessed from the kitchen. Utility room: There is a laundry sink, a freezer, and a drying rack here. The storage room is accessed from the hallway and the kitchen. Patios: A stone-paved patio facing west at the front of the property. A small, gravel patio for morning coffee in the back, facing east. Important things to know about our farmhouse: The farmhouse is older, dating from the mid-19th century. It is completely renovated in a vintage style. Very cozy! Bed linens and towels are not provided but should be used. Bed linens can be rented for SEK 200 per person per stay. Towels can be rented for SEK 100 per person per stay. Garbage is sorted and disposed of by the guest at the waste collection point on departure. Food waste is sorted separately and composted on the property. Cleaning before departure is not included. Cleaning can be purchased for SEK 1000. The outbuilding is connected to the main house by a glass link at one end of the outbuilding. You have the entire farmhouse to yourselves and your own private entrance. There are three fireplaces in the house; these are not to be used by the tenant. The house is best suited for adults, teenagers, and children under one year of age. On the property, we grow vegetables and potatoes and have a bee farm. There is an option to buy produce from the farm, depending on availability. The surroundings are calm. Quiet hours from 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Possibility to borrow bicycles if needed. Pets are not allowed. Guest access Guests have access to the entire farmhouse, as well as the outdoor areas in front of and behind the house. Please note that the courtyard house is connected to the residential building by a glass walkway. Glaslänken is not included in the rental of the guest house. A locked door with a privacy screen separates the courtyard house from the annex. Other things to note Nearby there are: Ica Vallda grocery store, 20 minutes by bicycle or 10 minutes by car. Well-stocked store with a deli counter. At Ica, there is also a very well-stocked and modern fishmonger's shop that sells fresh fish from Tuesday to Saturday. Sandö Harbor with an ice cream stand, a popular swimming area with a diving board, and beautiful cliffs, about 20 minutes by bicycle or 10 minutes by car. The Vallda Sandö nature reserve can be reached on foot, by bicycle, or by car (parking at Sandö Harbor). Here, you will find hiking trails through heathlands, coastal meadows, sandy beaches, and cliffs. There is also the opportunity for birdwatching. In Lerkil Harbor, there is a popular swimming area with a pier, an ice cream stand, and a sandy beach. There is also a restaurant here with outdoor seating and evening sun. 20 minutes by bicycle or 10 minutes by car. There is a pizzeria 10 minutes away by car. There are several golf courses in Vallda. At Vallda Golf Course, there is a restaurant within cycling distance of the house. In the nearby area, there are several nice farm shops that sell vegetables, meat from their own farm, flowers, etc. Approximately 15 minutes by car from Kungsbacka. 30 minutes by car to Gothenburg. 40 minutes by car to Varberg. Bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the house. From the bus stop, buses go to Onsala and to Kungsbacka, where commuter trains and Öresund trains run.
