Come park your boat up to the dock and enjoy the soothing laid-back lifestyle of a waterfront vacation when you escape to Homosassa. You will have a jaw dropping view of the river from your private honeymoon cottage. Enjoy biking, hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking or simply taking the sun. Our small town is cozy, quiet and friendly with plenty to see. The space This is a small studio but the privacy and view are huge. The airy inviting space is decorated with a subtle nautical feel using local antiques and photos. Luxurious linens help you snuggle up at night. There is a kitchenette with refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster oven, hotplate, coffee maker and blender for those frozen tropical cocktails. You will truly enjoy the private elevated patio deck with barbecue and patio furnishings. Guest access Included in your stay is Free boat dockage, Boat & trailer parking, a fish cleaning station, private beach with fire pit and sun lounges, use of bicycles, use of kayaks and life jackets, snorkel gear provided for scalloping, outdoor barbecue, DVD player with a small selection of DVD's, cold air conditioning, Cable tv, internet, ironing board and iron, blow dryer, suitcase rack, closet with hangers, soap & shampoo and the use of the owners swim spa “cold pool” and hot tub which is heated at all times. Other things to note *We are only a few minutes drive from the state wildlife park. *Our scallop season is known all over the world and exists July thru September. *Our little fishing village hosts a seafood festival every fall. *The Shrimpapalooza parade and fair are a sight to see in March. *The "Family Fishing Tournament" draws huge crowds in the month of April. *Don't miss the Cobia fishing tournament in June. Otherwise, we are just a sweet southern fishing village that is huge on friendly and wild with charm!
