Our small town is cozy, quiet and friendly with plenty to see. This is a small studio but the privacy and view are huge. The airy inviting space is decorated with a subtle nautical feel using local antiques and photos. Luxurious linens help you snuggle up at night. There is a kitchenette with refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster oven, hotplate, coffee maker and blender for those frozen tropical cocktails. You will truly enjoy the private elevated patio deck with barbecue and patio furnishings. Included in your stay is Free boat dockage, Boat & trailer parking, a fish cleaning station, private beach with fire pit and sun lounges, use of bicycles, use of kayaks and life jackets, snorkel gear provided for scalloping, outdoor barbecue, DVD player with a small selection of DVD's, cold air conditioning, Cable tv, internet, ironing board and iron, blow dryer, suitcase rack, closet with hangers, soap & shampoo and the use of the owners swim spa “cold pool” and hot tub which is heated at all times. We try to always be available when you arrive in case you have any questions. We have security cameras located outside to alert us of your arrival, but just in case we miss you, please feel free to make yourselves at home and explore the property. We like to make our guests feel like friends but also want you to enjoy your privacy. Most homeowners in our neck of the woods are strictly part time residents. We are lucky to be of the few who live here year around so the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. If you are an early riser you are certain to see the charter boats heading out in the mornings as all of the local birds fly onto our back porches looking for breakfast snacks. In the evening just around dinner time, the local shrimpers load up their boats and head out for a nights work as the rest of us watch the gorgeous sunsets or head on over to the local watering hole for some live music. As for the close and local entertainment, a bicycle is a terrific option. A quick car ride will take you to the local market, wildlife park, and local charter events, etc. *We are only a few minutes drive from the state wildlife park. *Our scallop season is known all over the world and exists July thru September. *Our little fishing village hosts a seafood festival every fall. *The Shrimpapalooza parade and fair are a sight to see in March. *The "Family Fishing Tournament" draws huge crowds in the month of April. *Don't miss the Cobia fishing tournament in June. Otherwise, we are just a sweet southern fishing village that is huge on friendly and wild with charm!
