The space ★ Bedrooms ★ Bedroom 1: A comfortable air-conditioned bedroom with a double bed, an attached bathroom, and soothing lake views from the window. It is ideal for a couple or a small family, and has enough space to accommodate one extra floor mattress if needed. Bedroom 2: This is the largest bedroom in the villa and is perfect for families or larger groups sharing a room. It features two double beds, air-conditioning, beautiful lake views from the window, and a separate door that opens out to the back patio, lawn, and lotus pond area. The room also has space for two extra mattresses and uses the common bathroom located near the living room. Bedroom 3: A peaceful air-conditioned bedroom with a double bed, a garden-facing outlook, and access to a private bathroom with a bathtub. It has a warm, cozy feel and can comfortably fit one extra floor mattress, making it a great option for couples or guests who prefer a quieter corner of the home. The villa is most comfortable for 6 guests on beds, but can accommodate larger groups with the help of extra mattresses and convertible sofa beds in the living room. The rooms are simple, spacious, and designed to make the most of the home’s scenic surroundings, with lake views on one side and lush greenery on the other. ★ Living Room ★ The living room is a relaxed common space designed for group hangouts, movie nights, and indoor lounging between meals and sunset sessions on the deck. It features four convertible sofa beds, one additional single bed, a 32-inch TV with OTT access, coffee table books, and board games for easy entertainment. Large openings and its connection to the verandah keep the room bright and airy, while the lake view from the living area adds to the calm, laid-back feel of the home. For larger groups, this space also doubles up as an additional sleeping area without feeling cramped. ★ Kitchen & Dining ★ One of the biggest highlights of Lake County is its expansive covered verandah, which serves as the main dining and lounging space of the villa. With a 12-seater outdoor dining setup and uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding mountains, it’s the perfect setting for long breakfasts, slow lunches, evening tea, and sunset dinners. The verandah also has two outdoor sofas placed to make the most of the view, creating a lovely corner for board games, card sessions, reading, or simply sitting back and watching the changing light over the water. This is the part of the home guests tend to gravitate toward throughout the day, whether for conversation, quiet time, or just the scenery. Fresh homestyle meals are prepared by the caretaker and can be arranged at an additional charge. The meal package is priced at ₹1200 per person for vegetarian meals and ₹1500 per person for chicken meals, and includes lunch, hi-tea, and dinner. Guests who prefer to stay in and enjoy the property without stepping out for meals will find this especially convenient. The main kitchen is not accessible for guest cooking, but a microwave, kettle, and toaster are provided for light use such as reheating food, making tea or coffee, or preparing quick snacks. There is also a BBQ setup in the back garden, which can be arranged at an extra charge of ₹1000 per kg for veg and ₹1000 per kg for chicken. ★ Things to Know ★ Lake County is located in Mulshi and enjoys a peaceful setting overlooking the backwaters, making it ideal for guests who want a scenic getaway close to nature without being too far from Pune. The villa is especially loved for its panoramic lake views, spacious layout, peaceful ambience, and the kind of slow, relaxed experience that makes you want to stay outdoors longer. The property is well-suited for family getaways, friends’ reunions, small celebrations, and even workations thanks to its reliable Jio AirFiber WiFi, which usually offers speeds of around 30–50 Mbps. Phone network coverage is also good across major operators, so staying connected is generally not a problem here. In case of a power cut, the villa has inverter backup for up to 6 hours. During this time, lights, fans, WiFi, and charging points will continue to work, but heavy appliances such as air-conditioners, water geysers, and the microwave will not function on backup. The outdoor spaces are a big part of the stay experience here. In addition to the large lake-facing verandah, the villa also has a back lawn and garden area with a BBQ setup and a lotus pond near the larger bedroom. Clear evenings can be great for stargazing, and mornings often offer lovely opportunities for birdwatching around the property. Parking is available for 3–4 cars within the premises. The property also makes a good base for exploring nearby attractions such as Mulshi Lake, Mulshi Dam, Devkund Waterfall, Andharban Trek, and other scenic drives and nature trails in the region. As with most homes in a lush natural setting, guests should expect the occasional presence of insects, moths, or mosquitoes, especially during the monsoon and after sunset. Carrying personal repellents is always a good idea if you’re sensitive to that. Guest access Guest have private access to entire villa. Kitchen is not accessible for guests Other things to note ID proof of all guests is mandatory at check-in. Please carry a valid government-issued photo ID such as Aadhar card, driving licence, or passport. Check-in time is 1:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. The villa is pet-friendly, but guests are requested to inform us in advance if travelling with pets. The main kitchen is not available for guest cooking. Guests may use the microwave, kettle, and toaster provided for light needs only. Outside or unregistered visitors are not allowed on the premises without prior approval. Smoking is not allowed inside the villa. If needed, guests may use outdoor areas responsibly. Please avoid loud music late at night and be mindful of the peaceful surroundings and neighbouring homes. BBQ can be arranged at additional charge and should preferably be requested in advance. Guests are requested to treat the home, furniture, linen, and outdoor areas with care. Any damage to the property or furnishings may be chargeable. Any illegal activities or behaviour that disturbs staff, neighbours, or the property environment is strictly prohibited.
