Applegarth is a detached 150 year old house in a quiet spot in Grosmont village and with a lovely garden to enjoy. The North Yorks Moors Railway (steam) runs near to the cottage, the station and the engine sheds are close by; also reachable by national rail. We are close to the Yorkshire Moors and "Heartbeat" Goathland. Whitby is a short drive or train journey away (8 miles), Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes are nearby. There is a coffee shop, pub and locally-run Co-Op all within 100m. The space Entrance hall with cloakroom/toilet and storage for coats and boots. Cosy sitting room with wood-burning stove. Fully-equipped kitchen with seating for dining, Neff oven and hob, microwave, Bosch dishwasher, coffee maker and wood-burning stove. Walk-in pantry with washing machine, additional fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board. Lovely enclosed garden. Sleeps 4 - upstairs we have two bedrooms, a double and a twin. Unloading and out of season parking is available in Front St nearby, a short walk to the cottage. Also we provide a free parking pass for the North York Moors car park (250 metres). Applegarth is reached on foot. This property is not recommended for anyone with limited mobility, due to limited access and stairs.
