Thorneed House-arts inspired farmhouse in somerset

Nestled in the somerset levels, between Wells and Glastonbury, Thornreed House is a 200 year old farmhouse, formerly let as Godney Arts House. With a log burner, quirky art, garden adjoining the river Sheppey, nespresso machine, big green egg and roll top bath there is something for all the family. The views are of cow pasture reaching to the Mendips and Somerset's finest pub, The Sheppey is one minute away. Within 5 minutes are walks and bird watching at Ham Wall nature reserve and Westhay. The space The property is a mid terraced stone farmhouse with large flagstones, georgian windows and all ensuite rooms. It sleeps up to 9 in a kingsize and pull out sofa (double) in the attic room, kingsize in bedroom 2, queensize in bedroom 1 and a futon/sofa bed on the landing. Be aware the property has river frontage so children must be supervised in the garden as there is a drop to the river (its protected by sofas at the end of the patio). Guest access Whole house access. Keys are in a store at the front of the property with access code released on booking. Parking immediately outside the front door for one car. Further parking along the lane - all on public highway.
