Welcome to Auchneiven Lodge, a charming two-bedroom cottage in the peaceful village of Oxhill, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Ideally located near Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds, it provides the perfect base for countryside walks, local pubs, and exploring the surrounding area. The space Upon entering the property, you are welcomed into a reception area which leads to the king-size master bedroom with en-suite and walk-in shower, as well as the open-plan living and dining area. The staircase is also accessed from here. The open-plan living and dining area includes a fully equipped kitchen, complete with all essential appliances and amenities required for a comfortable stay. The living space features large bi-fold doors which open directly onto a private terrace. The cottage benefits from a private terrace area, perfect for enjoying the surrounding garden, whether for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. Upstairs, you will find the second bedroom, featuring two twin beds, along with a separate shower room. The second bedroom is set within the eaves of the cottage, creating a cosy attic-style space full of character. There is full standing height in the centre of the room however ceiling height is reduced towards the edges. This also applies to parts of the adjoining bathroom, where some areas have lower ceilings. The upstairs twin beds can also be converted into a comfortable king-size bed. They are prepared as twins as standard, but we’re happy to set them up as a king on request—just let us know before your stay. Inside, the cottage is both cosy and refined, with a welcoming living space perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. Soft lighting, neutral tones, and comfortable furnishings create an atmosphere that feels effortlessly restful. The ground floor benefits from underfloor heating, with central heating throughout the rest of the property to ensure a warm and comfortable stay year-round. Private Wi-Fi is available exclusively for guest use and is suitable for remote working if required. On-site parking is available directly outside the property for one to two cars. If additional parking is needed, please contact us prior to booking to confirm availability. Please note, pets are not permitted at the property. The cottage includes a staircase to the first floor, so guests should take care when using the stairs. The wider garden is primarily for the owners’ use. The owners live on-site in a separate dwelling and are respectful of your privacy at all times. The terrace and immediate outdoor space surrounding the cottage are for your exclusive use, and this area will remain completely private during your stay.
