Danish island summerhouse – fjord view

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim. And then Oroe is only 1,5 hours drive from Copenhagen. If this house is booked, feel free to see our other house on Orø. The space The house offers a beautiful view over the fjord. We build the house in a crossformed shape and it consists of an open plan with kitchen, livingroom and diningarea. Further more there is a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The supply of warm water is limited so you can only shower short. There are four terasses, each providing a sunny or shady place when needed. There is a doublebed in bedroom and 2 singlebeds / one doublebed i the livingroom. The house is insulated, and there is a fireplace in the livingroom. There is a shed with firewood next to the house. Firewood is included. Theres is also an electric heater. Outside we have a big trampoline. Guest access If you travel to Oroe by car: You drive until you reach Hammer Bakker (zipcode 4050 Skibby). The Hammer Bakke ferry will sail you to Oroe in 6 minutes time and departes every 20 minute between 06:00-19:00 and every 30 minutes between 19:00-24:00 The ferry doesn’t sail between 24:00-06:00 If you travel to Oroe by public transportation: The easiest way to reach Oroe is by train to Holbæk and then go by the ferry from Holbæk to Oroe. The distance from Holbæk ferry on Oroe to the house is 3 km. We have no taxi services on the island. You have to walk to the summerhouse, or alternative you can try to get a lift. Normally people here are very helpful. Other things to note We do not have a cleaning fee, we expect you to leave our house in the same neat condition as you took it over. We clean for you and make your bed and you clean the house, remove your rubbish, empty the dishwasher and remove used bedding before you leave the house. If you have a dog, it is more than welcome as long as you keep it in its dog leash all the time. If you bring a dog , you must be extra active with the vacuum cleaner :-) When you arrive to the house, you are only allowed to park in our driweway next to the house and not at the gravel road.
