Vacation home by the pond

In the heart of the Belgium-Netherlands-Germany border triangle, our quarry stone house with 2 terraces directly on the swimming pond offers peace and quiet but also close excursion destinations with the cities of Aachen/D, Maastricht/NL and Liège/B. The space The holiday home by the pond is part of a fully restored farmhouse with a view of the border triangle (B/NL/D) and the Hombourg pastureland in a scenic location. It has a separate entrance, a large living area with open kitchen and shower room with toilet on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Wi-Fi for private use is available throughout the vacation home. TV / satellite reception with predominantly German-language and English-language programs / no Dutch or Belgian programs. From the cozy sitting area in the living room you have an enchanting view of the garden and the swimming pond (6 m x 13 m x 1.7 m). Large sliding doors turn the garden terraces into the living area in the warm season. An open passage leads to the kitchen with fridge/freezer, ceramic hob/oven, dishwasher, coffee maker and fully automatic coffee machine as well as sufficient dishes for 4 people. No microwave. In the adjoining pantry there is the washing machine as well as cleaning supplies. Per person a shower towel is available. Please bring your own bath towels for the swimming pond or outdoor area. The apartment has central heating. In addition, a pellet stove is available. Pellets for refilling can be bought in Hombourg. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling arched windows, oak parquet flooring and optionally with a comfortable double or 2 single beds (box spring beds in hotel quality). Privacy screens on all windows upstairs. Bed linen is available according to the number of people and the beds are ready made on arrival. As support for our housekeeping, we ask that you remove the bed linen on departure and dispose of the garbage separately in the garbage cans provided outside. Maximum occupancy 4 people. Guest access Hiking and cycling are possible from the house. Free parking at the property is also available. Additional parking is limited and only possible on request. The swimming pond and the front garden can be used by all guests. For the holiday home guests, the two terraces are available directly at the holiday home with a dining table and in summer with sun loungers. The back garden and back terrace are reserved for the owners. Other things to note During the holidays (Easter, July August, autumn, Christmas, New Year's Eve) there is usually a minimum stay of 7 nights. Short stays of 3 nights or more can only be reserved at short notice for free periods on request. In the spring, our frogs are also active in the pond and are also noticeable at night. Our region is also rural, i.e. cows that moo - horses that whine - donkeys that bray - and also tractors that cultivate the field are possible.
