Farmhouse in Olivegrove - 15 min to town & beaches

A simple, peaceful two-floor 3-bedroom house among olive trees in walking distance to a little beach — yet only about 15 minutes from Mytilene town, the airport, the port and beautiful beaches like in Xaramida. A relaxed, authentic rural base fully equipped for a family or group of up to 6 adults. A great base to explore Lesvos by car, with a big garden, a terrace for long dinners, and lots room to spread out. All rooms have desks, 1 with Monitor and keyboard; artists equipment on request. The space The stone-house was built beginning of 2000 in a 5000 m2 olivegrove. It is uniquely located and built with a local architect and is currently being repainted inside. (New pictures to come soon) It is located in a calm little fishers village far off the busy tourism areas - yet with 2 great taverns to enjoy lunches and dinners - and shops in the nearby village Loutra. Upstairs there is 2 bedrooms, 1 balcony and a big bathroom. Downstairs is a huge kitchen/dining/living room area - a toilet - and a bedroom that does not have a door (bedroom 3), it is seperated with a curtain. The livingroom has a door so if you use the whole house with family or friends it should not be a problem but it is good to be aware... Other things to note Checkout the "mountain nest" - my second property in the north of the island above Molyvos: airbnb.com/h/seaviewstudio-vafeios Notes about the farmstay: Because this is a farmstay and we are surrounded by sheep farmers there is flies that may enter the house if flygates and doors are not kept closed. We have flycatchers in the house. Aircondition is available in the Bedroom 1, 2 and 3, in the kitchen but not in the dining/living room. Because of electricity costs needs to be used with discretion and only on demand, On lowest 25 Degrees - and only when the specific room is used, and except in a heatwave also not during the night. It is important to close the shutters in summer during the day to keep the house as cool as possible and to save energy. If you want to use the aircon more I will ask you an extra charge because included in the price is only a moderate use of the aircon. Registration Details Exempt
