Over the space of 3 years, our family worked on the renovation and we can confidently say we know the place inside and out ! The main room of the cabin is a combined Kitchen, Dining Room and Lounge, perfect for communal living. This room includes an electronic hidden TV cabinet which is perfect for having the screen away for quality time (and also for impressing young children) The hallway then connects off to both bedrooms and the combined shower/toilet room (which has a lock). The ceilings are high in most rooms and it generally gets lots of light. As part of the renovation process we installed substantial additional insulation so the cabin is lovely and warm all year round. We do cater for a small to medium sized dog and include covers on all the upholstered furniture. There is a local A road which gives background noise - most guests report that this is not a problem (and some say it provides nice white background noise ) but if you are particularly sensitive to these kinds of noises then please do consider this. The property is in a residential area, and while many lines of sight are blocked by the various large trees in the area, parts of the garden are overlooked our neighbours. They are all very friendly but please bear this in mind prior to booking. There is one inside step and three steps in the garden. There is a child lock on the oven but no cupboard or appliance child locks and the kitchen/living room is open plan. Guest access Entire property and garden is included for exclusive use.
