Homestay at the Gateway to Deep Northern Hokkaido
Description
Please note: This is a homestay-style accommodation with private rooms and shared facilities. Guests seeking hotel-level cleanliness or privacy are kindly asked to refrain from booking. That said, those looking to connect with others are more than welcome! Welcome to Japan!! This house was originally built as staff housing for local teachers, and has since been lovingly renovated and reborn as a guesthouse. Our pride and joy is the wood-burning stove. The space Cook on top of it, gather around the fire, and sink into a slow, unhurried kind of luxury you simply can't find anywhere else. The spacious living and dining area is filled with natural light streaming through large windows. The floors are crafted from solid Hokkaido-grown Eastern white pine, giving the space a warm, natural feel that you can sense underfoot. The resident caretaker regularly hosts events, giving guests plenty of opportunities to connect with people from the local community. Spend a quiet day to yourself, or strike up a conversation with someone you'd never have met anywhere else. This is a place where both peaceful solitude and lively encounters are yours to enjoy — Registration Details Hotels and Inns Business Act | 北海道名寄保健所 | 上名生第151号指令
