Description
Our family home since 1956, when it was designed and built by local life long residents Louie and Roberta. Mid-century style floor plan with generously sized spaces offer an excellent blend of space and comfort. The family's connection to the Northwest art movement of Fishtown and Skagit valley artist can be observed on the walls of the home. Enjoy the views and serenity or take the short stroll to downtown. Father and son team have taken great care to update the home with all modern amenities. The space Guests have the entire upstairs/ main house. there is an apartment downstairs in the basement that my quiet father and his little dog Bob live in. there is no interior access between the units. the spaces are effectively separate. so it's very private. the listing parameters offer "entire place", "shared room", or "private room". this is an entire house, but with a basement apartment. so "entire house" is the most accurate of the only 3 options. sorry for the confusion! The property is on a hillside, so there isn't much of a yard to speak of. mostly landscaped terraces. if you're looking for a big outdoor space for your dog to roam around, this is probably not the space. otherwise the house is spacious and comfortable. We've had several guests with dogs who've had no issues with the lack of "yard".There is a nice deck off the kitchen/dining room as well. enjoy the views!
