La Bichurie is a large fully renovated, 6 double bedroomed 17th Century house sitting in 5 acres of organic land with its own private gardens, terrace with BBQ and outside dining furniture, we are further surrounded by farm fields with no local neighbors. Yoga, mindfulness, walking, cycling, bird watching, art & photography etc are easy in this tranquil spot, our large yoga/meditation studio & art studio are there for your enjoyment and our log burning fires keep you snug all year long. The space La Bichurie is set in the stunning Normandy countryside, a short drive to the Northern D-Day Landing beaches, and only 20 minutes to the beautiful west coast sandy dune beaches and national parks ; where you can walk for miles along a stunning coastline, explore medieval properties, swim, sail, cycle or just chill out in one of the many restaurants enjoying incredible fresh seafood, wines, and French cuisine. La Bichurie has its own natural guests including deer, birds of prey, beautiful garden birds, pheasants, woodpeckers, red squirrels, martins, and sometimes wild pigs. Walking in or around La Bichurie is peaceful, calming and inspiring for artists, photographers and anyone who enjoys being in nature. I set up La Bichurie with peace, tranquility, and art in mind, so please come along and experience the wonders of La Bichurie for yourself, and don’t worry TV and Radio is provided with hundreds of channels in English and French via Satellite, as is internet connection / WiFi via Satellite ( internet download is upto 150GB) for those who need to be connected. Private yoga lessons and Thai Massage are available at additional cost, please enquire on arrival. Dogs are welcome at La Bichurie but guests must gain approval on booking. Dogs are charged at 30 Euros per dog per week payable on arrival, guests are responsible for their dogs during their stay, any loss or damage to the dog or the property will be the responsibility of the guest. Guest access You will have the run of the property during your stay, the 6 bedroomed house, the yoga studio and the land where you will find two large fields, an orchard with Apples, Pears, Cherries, Peach, Figs, Chestnuts, Walnuts, and Plums where you and your party are welcome to pick your own fruit, herbs, and nuts, and your children can play in the fields, make dens and explore. We also have an art studio for you to be creative, art materials are available or you can bring your own.
